This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on www.smartvapt.com and how you can control them. It applies alongside our Privacy notice.

2. What “cookies and similar technologies” means
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) also covers similar techniques, such as scripts that read information from your browser or local storage. In this policy, “cookies” means all of these.
3. Our approach
We keep tracking to a minimum:
- No advertising, retargeting or social media tracking. No Meta Pixel, ad networks or third-party marketing tags.
- No embedded social media widgets. Our social links are plain links that load nothing until you click them.
- Analytics for statistics only. It tells us which pages are useful so we can improve the site, never who you are.

We don’t use any functional, preference or marketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this table and ask for your consent where the law requires it, before anything is set.
5. Turning analytics off
You can object to analytics at any time, free of charge:
- Use Cookie settings (also linked in every page footer) and switch analytics off. Your choice is saved on your device and applies straight away.
- Or turn on your browser’s “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” setting. We treat either one as an objection to analytics.
Turning analytics off does not affect how the website works.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the spam protection may stop the quote form working; if that happens, you can email us at info@smartvapt.com instead.
7. Cookies and personal data
Where any information collected this way counts as personal data, the UK GDPR applies and our Privacy notice explains how we handle it.
8. Changes
We will update this policy whenever the technologies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
